Weighing in at almost 1 million pounds of steel and covering a footprint of 80,000 sqft, the state of the art building will house 100 suites. The project is in a farmers field just outside of Morden Manitoba. IMI is excited to be apart of this steel driven structure, it fits right in with our mission of building structures that help quality of life. We have just found out on the award of the Northern Crisis Services for Youth, in Thompson MB. The 830sqft building will be complete in 2016. The Northern Crisis Services For Youth Project is a new health care facility for youth in the North to provide mental health and addictions services, highlighting suicide prevention. IMI was awarded the Structural, Miscellaneous, OWJS and Decking.

IMI is confident with our School building experience and the recent close of similar school Amber Trails, which just wrapped up a few months ago, that this project will meet its critical, short timeline for completion. IMI has officially been awarded the Dakota Collegiate addition/renovation. Primarily a open web joists job with some structural for the addition and steel framework around the perimeter. Imperial was awarded the scope of Structural, OWJS and Decking with General Regent Construction.

We are pleased to say we have officially won the award for the Miscellaneous Metals scope of the Selkirk Hospital. There are some incredibly unique and complex stairways to be very proud of once complete! We were awarded the project with EllisDon. The project had been on & off for a couple years, so to be a part of this giant expansion into Manitoba Health sector is very exciting for us.
