Chemawawin School
The Chemawawin School was built constructed in 04-05 in the town of Easterville. The community rests on the shores of the man made reservoir of Cedar Lake, west of Grand Rapids. Imperial Metal supplied and installed the structural and miscellaneous metal. One of our unique projects was the spiral stairs up along the library wall. The building includes a gym and trades classes. We brought in a 100 ton crane to install some of the largest pieces, running down the centre of the building. Most of the structure was done with a 30 ton crane in the coldest part of winter.
