Imperial was recently awarded the classroom addition and Pipefitters shop addition in the growing metropolis of Morden, Manitoba. These 2 new additions will help with the growing population and continue education, something we are always please to be a part of! Imperial is ecstatic to receive the honour of helping build the High School in Waverley West. This growing area is in need of more space and this school will be a major landmark. Over 116,000sqft of space, 3 stories tall, 4,000sqft library, outdoor learning areas and so much more. IMI was awarded the Structural steel, Decking and Misc metals.

After a the tragic fire last year, the Stone Creek Plaza building is ready to rebuild. Imperial is very pleased to be a part of rebuilding this structure in our home town!! Right across the street from our other project with HyLife.

This is an exciting project!! The Desautels Concert Hall will be a 25,000sqft addition to the existing Tache Hall. The new building will give additional stage space for performance and rehearsals. Imperial was awarded the contract for Structural Steel, Decking, Walkways, Stainless Rails, Stairs & Railings and all Miscellaneous metals. Stay tuned for construction progress.

The new building will be the flagship structure at the heart of the Mill Brook Market Development beside Superstore. The 4-storie building with over 50,000sqft of space to hold the 220+ employees.

IMI has been awarded the Cross Lake Health Complex in Cross Lake, Manitoba. Almost 800km from Winnipeg, we will be supplying & installing the 125,000sqft of decking over steel joists on main floor and roof, along with our structural steel and some miscellaneous metals. This is a need contribution to the community of Pimicikamak Cree Nation and its our hope it will impact many lives.

IMI has been awarded the next large development for the downtown True North Square development. This 19 story project will be right next to the Royal Winnipeg Ballet project IMI was awarded in January. Our scope will currently include the structural steel throughout the building and most prominently the 2 stories of structural steel exposed at the top of the structure to be cladded with glass. This will be an exciting build to see going up on the growing skyline.

IMI has been awarded the Royal Winnipeg Ballet project at the heart of the development near True North Square, in Winnipeg Manitoba. We will be supplying & installing the structural steel, decking and all the stairs and miscellaneous metals for the project. There are some complexities in the project due to the tight space for a 5-story steel project, the connection to RWB’s existing structure, and many mechanical/electrical holes in the steel beams due to the construction design. IMI will supply the 3D model in order to coordinate items like these holes in order to achieve a smooth install for all trades. Construction is set to start February 2021.
