IMI will typically tackle glulam structure install when its a small feature on a structural steel building. But when we were presented the opportunity to partner with Bockstael Construction for the Peace Gardens project, which is entirely glulam, we came together and made it happen. Our scope was the install only of the wood structure and steel columns.
The Peace Gardens is a 90 year old historical site between the Canada & US border.

Imperial is pleased to announce we are the successful steel trade for the Kingfisher School. Almost 27,000sqft, this will be an amazing state of the art school to compliment the community. IMI was awarded the Structural steel, Miscellaneous metals, steel decking and glulam installation.
General Contractor: Penn-Co Construction
IMI has been awarded the new Airport in Sioux Lookout Ontario. It is a design build with Penn-Co construction. Set to start in October, 2016. This is an exciting project for us, and we have crews eager to go up north again! Our scope is the Supply & Install of Structural, Miscellaneous, Joists, Decking and Install only of the glulams.
