Halo Towers – Misc Metals

I’m sure many of you saw the large black question mark on Pembina last year (2020). It was revealed to be the new Halo Towers project, an exciting and unique build with MBuilds Construction. Imperial was awarded the Miscellaneous metals package for all the tower stairs, the misc metal items (trench grating, bollards, hangers, etc) and the penthouse suite feature stairs. We have also had the opportunity to help out on some of the structural steel fabrication. This is a great team to be working with, and will be a eye catcher as it rises. Stay tuned!

Wawanesa NAHQ Tower

IMI has been awarded the next large development for the downtown True North Square development. This 19 story project will be right next to the Royal Winnipeg Ballet project IMI was awarded in January. Our scope will currently include the structural steel throughout the building and most prominently the 2 stories of structural steel exposed at the top of the structure to be cladded with glass. This will be an exciting build to see going up on the growing skyline.

General Contractor is PCL Construction.

Osbourne Place

IMI is incredibly privileged to be a part of this exciting new building at the heart of Winnipeg. Osborne Place at the Station will be a first class 6-storey office building located on the corner of Osborne Street, and Pembina Highway also known as the land-mark called “Confusion Corner”. Imperial has been awarded the Structural, Miscellaneous, Joists and Deck for the project, set to begin right away!
